FAQ's

Q: How long is the School Day?

A: School begins when the gate opens and children go straight to their class at 8.50am. Junior and Senior Infants finish at 1.30pm. Children from 1st to 6th class finish school at 2.30pm.

Q: When are the break times?

A: Little Break is from 10.30 – 10.40am and Big Break is from 12.15 – 12.45pm.

Q: What should I give my child for his/her lunch?

A: Children can bring a snack to school for little break and they are entitled to the Free Lunch Scheme, which provides free hot meals every day for free. The meals can be chosen by parents through the Lunch Bag app. Please talk to your child's class teacher if your child has any challenges around food (eating certain foods/allergies).

Q: In which classes do children get homework?

A: All children receive homework from Junior Infants to 6th Class appropriate to their age and ability. Teachers will explain what is required with the homework and the length of time each class should spend doing homework, at the Curricular Meetings at the beginning of the school year.
