We have a beautiful Garden in Loreto, with a view of Dublin bay and Dalkey Island. In Spring we love to plant fruit and vegetables. We also plant wild flowers and let the meadow grow to encourage the bees and insects to flourish. We enjoy a walk around the school garden where we now have a beautiful set of the Stations of the Cross. It makes a peaceful and reflective space for all.
This year we had apple and pear trees donated to the school and we have a developing orchard growing.
Beside our garden we have our beautiful Grotto which was replanted by a group of volunteer parents and grandparents and is thriving and at the end of the garden we have a secret willow dome which is a great place for story-time on a sunny day!
